Straight answers for teams evaluating Berkly apps on the Atlassian Marketplace. I’m Berk Karabacak, an individual developer — public contact is info@berkly.nl only.

Where does my Jira data go?

Apps are built to Run on Atlassian (Forge). Intended design is no egress: configuration and app storage stay in your Jira Cloud / Atlassian-hosted Forge storage. I do not host a copy of your Jira data. See privacy and DPA.

Is there a trial?

Paid listings use Atlassian’s standard 30-day trial where offered. Try the app on a non-production project first. Pricing is shown on each Marketplace listing (often from about USD 20/month for a team of 10, or free up to 10 then USD 2/user/month depending on the app).

Five-minute smoke check after install

Open the app from Jira (Apps / project or global page as documented).
Confirm you see the empty or sample state without errors.
Run one read-only action (search, list, or report).
If the app writes data, try one reversible write on a test project.
Uninstalling removes Forge app storage for that install.

Honest limits

Some admin apps target company-managed projects only — team-managed may be out of scope.
Workflow tooling may report app-specific rules it cannot fully migrate; validate before import.
New listings may have few or no reviews yet; judge from the trial and docs, not star counts.
