Privacy Policy

Effective date: 10 September 2026 (replaces earlier drafts that incorrectly named a company)

Each App runs entirely on Atlassian’s Forge platform and has no external data egress. It does not send your data to me or to any third party, and it stores data only inside your own Atlassian environment. I cannot see your Jira data.

Provider: Berk Karabacak, an individual developer publishing apps under the Berkly name (“Berkly”, “I”, “me”) · Contact: info@berkly.nl

There is no parent company. This policy is not published by Berkly B.V., Berkly N.V., or any Dutch company.

This policy explains what data Berkly’s apps (each, the “App”) process and how. Berkly’s apps are Atlassian Forge Cloud apps installed into your Jira Cloud site by a Jira administrator. It applies to every Berkly app unless an individual listing states otherwise.

1. Data the App accesses

To do its job, the App reads and — for actions you explicitly trigger — writes data within your Jira site, using only the Atlassian-granted scopes shown on the install screen. Depending on the App, this typically includes:

The App does not access issue content, comments, attachments, user emails, or any personal data beyond the acting admin’s account ID used for audit attribution.

2. Data the App stores

The App stores the following in Atlassian Forge app storage (hosted by Atlassian within your instance’s region), never on my own servers:

3. Data egress — none

The App has no web-trigger, makes no outbound network requests, and has no third-party integrations. Your configuration, snapshots and audit records never leave Atlassian’s infrastructure. Where a feature lets you move data between sites, that is done by you copying the JSON shown on screen — the App itself transmits nothing externally.

4. Sharing and sub-processors

I do not receive, sell, or share your data. Atlassian hosts the Forge platform and app storage as the infrastructure sub-processor; their handling is governed by the Atlassian Trust Center and your Atlassian agreement.

5. Retention and deletion

6. Security

Access to administrative functions is restricted to Jira administrators and enforced server-side on every action. The App follows Atlassian Forge’s security model (sandboxed runtime, Atlassian-managed storage and authentication). I hold no credentials and no copies of your data.

7. Personal data

Consistent with the Atlassian Marketplace data declaration, the App does not copy or store personal data associated with user references (such as account IDs) in my own systems, and does not cache your data outside Atlassian beyond what is needed to complete an operation.

8. Your rights

Because your data stays within your Atlassian instance and under your administrators’ control, requests to access, export, or delete data are fulfilled through your own Jira admin tools (and, for full removal, by uninstalling the App). For questions, contact info@berkly.nl.

9. Changes

I may update this policy; material changes will be reflected by a new effective date at the top. Continued use of the App after an update constitutes acceptance.
