Easy Workflows vs Workflow Wizard

Both move company-managed Cloud workflows. Wizard is the larger Marketplace app. Easy Workflows is free for sites of 10 and keeps snapshots inside Jira. This page says where each wins — including where we do not.

01 — Same job

Cloud workflow export and import

Jira Cloud still has no native file import for company-managed workflows. Admins pick a Marketplace app or rebuild by hand. Workflow Wizard (Computerra) is the common pick: JSON export/import (up to 20 workflows), validate, and a JSON editor. Easy Workflows is built for the same slice: export, validate, import, compare.

02 — Where Easy Workflows is a better fit

Small teams and in-Jira rollback

  • Free for teams ≤10. Wizard charges small sites (about USD 10/month at 10).
  • Snapshots stay in Jira. One-click restore. Wizard’s backup path is download JSON and re-import it yourself.
  • Side-by-side compare plus a validate step before anything writes.
  • Runs on Atlassian (Forge). Definitions stay on the site.

03 — Where Wizard wins

Scale price and bulk JSON edit

At 25–100 users we are not cheaper. Easy Workflows is about USD 2/user/month. Wizard is cheaper per seat at those sizes. Wizard also has a bulk JSON editor and a larger install base. If you need that editor, or you are already mid-market, pick Wizard.

04 — Honest no

Neither app is a full config manager

Easy Workflows does not move team-managed workflows, Data Center XML, issues, or whole projects. Use Atlassian Copy product data or a configuration manager for that. Support: info@berkly.nl.
